League of Legends is an MMO game developed by Riot Games! It's pretty much a PvP game throughout, just with the different game modes it determines on how early you can be aggressive and such.. normal mode is simply teams of 5vs5 (or 3vs3) fighting together to protect their Nexus and destroy the enemies, and to do this the teams will have to fight a series of Turrets in order to get to the Inhibitors, then proceed to destroy the Nexus turrets to get to the Nexus itself and win.
In this game mode, it is essential on how many deaths, kills and assists, along with how many minions/monsters you kill, the aim is to starve your enemy of extra gold from killing you as much as possible, and to try and stop them getting the last hits on minions for gold too, by harrassing them and pushing them out of lane.
There are 3 'lanes', top, middle and bottom, and there's a jungle inbetween the lanes. The rule of thumb is that 2 people go bottom lane, generally an attack damage carry (carries are generally the main damage dealer/most effective killer on your team, these type of carries don't even need to use skills to become powerful), and a support. Middle only has one player, which consists of ability power carries (magical) that have to mostly use skills as their source of damage, though a lot of characters can go mid and break the 'norm' (example, a Lee Sin can easily go middle lane because of his set up, but he's not a mage). People that go top are normally 'bruisers' which have high damage and high health, and normally only one person goes to top because there's normally someone going to level in the jungle. The jungler's job is to help other lanes if they're having trouble once in a while and sometimes they can counter jungle to make the other team suffer.

I like the detail in the description of how to play. It makes me think you could use the blog to post strategy ideas, team comps and plans for when we play.
ReplyDeleteIt also helps me understand better how you play. If members of a team were to each write something like this I think it would be helpful for them to work together.
Did you manage to hit print screen for the screenshots or were they recorded somehow else?

ReplyDeletealso, why do you only play ahri? and teemo? and ahri? and the more ahri? there are tons of other great champs, from kayle to darius. try 'em all if you wish to succeed!
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I played this game just for Ahri. I came from a game called Trickster Online (where you have anime-ish graphics with characters wearing animal ears/tails) and I was a fox. I also think foxes are really interesting and I love the furry little creatures :D I guess you could say I have a fox obsession. I love how all of Ahri's abilities are so different and unique and can be applied in many different situations. She's so fun to play! Of course I will try more characters in the future but for now I just love the foxy lady too much :D
